Some people prefer to use the prepaid cell phone. Those people chose it because they didn’t want to be shackled by some one or two years service contract. They believe that prepaid phone would be a better option for them, On Europe, the prepaid cell phone is more popular that the contract phone. The only reason people change their phone was only because the allure of not being bound by the long term contract and free of paying penalties risk is very attractive for them who change their phone to the prepaid cell phone.

Some long term contract based phones push the customer to pay them some penalties, in case the customer changed their mind and prefer to change the phone before the long term contract expired. Some people believe that this long term contract phone really tied them up with some contract clauses that they cannot broke. They must pay some penalties if they broke the contract clauses, and surely, those penalties are not cheap. That is why people start to consider that the prepaid cell phone would be fairer to them compared to the long term contract phone. Again this is more about the taste and preference. Some people perhaps even like the long term contract cell phone. They prefer to keep the long term contract cell phone with several considerations as well. Perhaps, they don’t want to change the number, or some other reasons. But mostly, the preferences are the main factor of changing the phone.

The real question is, which one is actually better? Is it the long term contract service phone or the prepaid cell phone? Which one gives the customer more benefits? Which one is actually cheaper? Here is some analysis. WE must pay a prepaid cell phone fro about $20 – $50 per month for 200 – 1000 anytime minutes. On the other side, we must pay around $25 – $60 per month for 200-600 anytime minutes. Although not all of those prepaid cell phone have the same rate, but still people have their own preferences. Sometimes, their preferences aren’t about the price anymore, but more about some sentiment to the other cellular provider. Usually, people changed their phone to the prepaid cell phone cause the ever got disappointed by the service of the long term contract phone. But they cannot change their phone immediately because they are bounded by the contract. This situation make them more disappointed the ever. That is why they prefer to changed the cell phone.
